Blazar is an old-school 2D scrolling shoot-em-up with gameplay that should be familiar to anyone who had an 8-bit or 16-bit computer or console.
The levels are rather unusual because they're different each time, as they're generated automatically. The game is never-ending, the levels just get narrower and narrower with ever-increasing numbers of enemies who also become more intelligent.
To be honest the graphics are a bit drab, and there's not really any variety between levels except that they get harder. The end-of-level bosses are just scaled up versions of one of the in-game enemies.
This game may please someone who wants a good old fashioned shoot-em-up, but people looking for more varied gameplay will be disappointed.
