PaintBall 2 has a fairly simple concept, try to match three or more same-coloured spheres. The twist is that they have to be next to one of the pipes that surround the playing area, and when they are matched up they disappear through the pipe to be replaced by more spheres falling in from the top of the screen.
What makes PaintBall 2 particularly special is the variety of gameplay in the different modes:
-Easy playing mode which is (as the name suggests) fairly easy and won't tax your brain.
-The Hard and Panic modes are much more frantic as they impose time limits on how long you can search for new lines. This feels very much more like an arcade game, as there's not really any time to plan strategies.
-Heat and Chroma modes don't have time limits, but impose special rules on how you can make lines, so they require much more careful thought than the other modes.
Putting together Easy, Hard, Panic, Heat and Chroma means that PaintBall 2 contains every kind of gameplay from easy to difficult, and from finger-twitching arcade to slow-paced strategy.
