Expert Opinions for Robo (Pocket PC)
 
Highly recommended!
...Robo is a game that takes parts of Sokoban, Traffic Jam and another game, which I cannot currently remember the title of, and merges them to create a stimulating puzzler that is hard to put down. As I said earlier, it is early days for me with this game but first impressions are extremely good. Considering the price, which unusually ranges from $4.40 to $12.85 depending on the platform you use, it is superb value for me and one which I can highly recommend.

Fantastic game with exquisite graphics!
...If you like puzzle games…and deadly lasers, then this is a fantastic game for you. I loved the fact that once you reached the harder levels, you had to actually think about what you were doing and plan your a few moves ahead. Simply sliding items around the screen would not work anymore. This is a fantastic puzzle game, with exquisite graphics. So, come one, help Robo find his way through the lasers to rescue Eny, his one true love.

Great puzzle that you shouldn’t pass by
...Robo doesn’t really break any new ground. What it does do, however, is take a familiar concept, throw it in a new environment, and make it fun. For die hard puzzle fans there will be plenty of challenge in the later levels, and for the casual gamer, the concept is simple enough that you’ll probably get hooked before you realize how difficult it’s gotten. Add on top of that some slick visuals and a decent soundtrack, and you’ve got one puzzle game that you shouldn’t pass by.

Bring them "together-forever, until their batteries discharged"!
...Herocraft might have just struck another successful title with the release of the Robo game. It has all it needs to keep the handset user stuck to the phone's display, trying to solve the puzzles. The final goal is as cute as it gets, namely that of bringing Robo and Eny "together-forever, until their batteries discharge".

Wonderful game at a reasonable price!
...The graphics of the game are great and there are lots of little cool graphical touches, like the way you get to see Robo's reflection any time he's close to a mirror or the short circuiting of a laser cannon just before it explodes...$12.95 is a reasonable price for a game with so many levels that will keep you occupied with many hours of problem solving.

Ein herausforderndes Puzzle-Game [DE]
...Robo ist ein nett gemachtes Spiel, bei dem wohlüberlegt aber auch schnell die tödlichen Laserstrahlen umgeleitet werden müssen. Und es vergeht schon einige Zeit, bis Robo seine Evy in die Arme nehmen kann. Gefällt mir!

Die Grafik ist gut gelungen [DE]
...Das gestaltet sich am Anfang noch recht einfach, mit jedem weiteren Level wird der Schwierigkeitsgrad aber höher. Die Grafik ist gut gelungen und wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgesetzt. Auch der Sound lässt wenig zu wünschen übrig...

Truly brilliant game! [DE]
...Wie gesagt keine wirklich neue Idee, aber eine wirklich geniale Umsetzung sowohl in Sachen Grafik und Sound wie eben auch in den neuen Elementen die da wären Laser, Bomben, Spiegel usw. Ich denke das Spiel ist allemals ein Kauf wert!

A cool variation for the age old question: to beam or not to beam
...It feels more rewarding to head somewhere, knowing how long your journey is going to be before you reach your well deserved “Congratulations screen”. I don’t want to stop playing a game because I got tired of it but because I finished it... Robo has a well deserved place in the Top 5 list in its genre and it's very easy to appreciate the thought and care that was put into the game.
